That Olivia. Sweet Baby O, she’s sometimes called. She’s sleek, supermodel-tall and thin and slinks around the house like a well-trained athlete…trained to snuggle! Olivia is a gentle, quiet sweetheart with a tiny voice she uses only when she wants to be followed upstairs so you’ll give her brushings and pettings. Oh, how that girl loves brushings!
In the Cat Den, she rolls around on a heated bed and demands her belly and armpits be brushed first (because we know all kitties love their armpits be brushed being as they can’t reach them themselves). And you’d want to brush her belly and armpits first because if not, she might stare you to death with her big green eyes.
Olivia loves playing with plastic rings (yellow ones are her absolute favorite). She flings them up the stairs and chases them back down again and guards them the best she can against Pia, who loves the yellow ones almost as much, but often loses them under the couch. Not to worry. the Dad rescues the rings from the couch monster once or twice a week and Olivia is in plastic ring heaven again.
In that downtime, when the rings are waiting to be rescued, she loves getting whiffies at the window. Bird TV is at it’s finest here, especially when the blue-violet swifts and swallows soar nearby. The swifts, who seek out Dad every spring (on account that he’s so tall and “closer up” to them) are her favorite bird to watch.
And when she’s not getting brushies or playing with her ring or watching the birds, she watches TV. Apparently, Miranda Lambert is a current favorite.
Olivia also loves the new silvery fountain in the Cat Den with its waterfall. Mom turns the water down so it doesn’t splash out and get all over the place. Olivia turns it up so it makes cheery loud, splashy noises. Mom turns it back down again. Up, down, up, down. Olivia thinks this is fun and Mom gets exercise.
Sure, on Mondays Olivia sits with Mom in front of the computer and tells what all the other Colehaus Cats have done over the past week that Mom doesn’t know about. Usually Mom does know but she enjoys Olivia’s company and listening to Olivia’s version of things. That girl can really spin a tale!
We won’t mention those occasional spats with Ruby or sometimes with Pia. Everyone needs to blow off a little steam now and then. Olivia is simply the best girl ever.
What a pretty pretty Olivia. We love how you make your Mommy exercise! 😉
I just want to steal her away from you and give her kisses all over her precious head. She looks so much like our angel Thelma, who was my “heart cat.” Thank you for featuring Olivia today, Janet
Thanks for the tip Olivia – we’ll try that exercise on our Mum!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
She is a sleek and beautiful girl, wow!
Loved learning more about Olivia, what a beautiful and charming kitty she is!
My Olivia is pretty and what wonderful green eyes she has. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Olivia sounds like a really nice black cat. Can I trade her for Jenna? Jenna is a medium long haired black cat and is a looker, too. However, she has an attitude. She even goes crazy once in a while.
Sissy
Your like a beautiful Panther Olivia xxooxx

Olivia is just downright beautiful – I love that puzzled look she has like she can’t figure out what all the fuss is about! She and my foster Magnum would make a lovely couple of kitties for adoption! 🙂

You are a supermodel Olivia.!!!!
She knows how to adjust the fountain? WOW! NEAT! I wanna learn how to do stuff like that, too. Any lessons in the offing?
Purrs,
Nissy
It’s easy! Because I like to figure out how things work, I batted the top of the fountain near where the water comes out and the water came out faster. In the other room, Mom heard the change in water flow so she came in and batted it so it sounded softer. I liked it noisy so when she left, I batted it back where I thought it should be. MOL!
Oh, it’s easy! Pat the top and see? The water is now splashy! Pat it again and it gets even louder. But be careful! That’s even to make moms come running! Purrs…
What a lovely post with so many beautiful shots of precious Olivia!…She is gorgeous and brilliant=we love that she adjusts the water fountain!!MOL…Happy hump, day, sweet friends!…xoox….Calle, Halle, Sukki, Mommy Cat, Daddy Cat
Olivia, you sure a beautiful house panther! We loved learning lots more about you. 🙂
What a pretty girl you are, Olivia. And clever, too. How do you adjust the water fountain? That sounds like a handy trick!
Oh, I just bat the round water adjustment ring and like magic, more water trickles out!
Olivia is so lovely. I almost couldn’t scroll past the “Olivia stare”. Hypnotizing!
Hey, I was idly clicking on your header and the pictures change position. Magic!
Hehe, yes, it is like magic! Thank you for noticing! 🙂
Olivia is just beautiful. And we have another thing in common–those rings are *my* favorite toy, too! (I like to keep mine under the washer and dryer.)
I’m happy to know someone else who loves those rings as much as me! Purrs….
Olivia is so pretty. She looks like Selina with 2 eyes. MOL! And she’s well rounded in her activities.
Well, I think Olivia is just the most beautiful kitty ever! What a gem–so friendly and loving! The Human gets verrrrrry jealous of people who have NICE kitties who LOVE them and SHE has ME–ha ha ha!

You’re beautiful, Olivia and funny 🙂
Oh I have it all figured out Miss Olivia… I’ll not brushy your armpits first so you DO have to stare me down with those big green eyes…
Harry
Love that water fountain, mine is a much simpler one. Very handy when the weather is warm, eh?
Miss O, we love the photo of you at your window! Faraday’s built along those same athletic lines, but he doesn’t have a *sweet* voice like yours (ha). And we boyz think that love of being brushed must be a girlcat thing!
