The weekend was a big one for Zuzu. She had her Spay Day! Yep, she is officially out of the Baby Business!

…and a flashback to early October, just a few days before the arrival of her last litter, the Niblets. If we know anything, we know that Zuzu wishes the words, “Spay and Neuter” were on the lips of everyone!
After doing fine during the procedure, she spent the night at the V-E-T, enjoyed time away from prying eyes and sniffing noses and probably got the best night’s sleep of her life, free for the first time from worry of new little ones coming along. It’s a big load off our minds too!
Zuzu, you gave birth to beautiful, well-adjusted, loving babies (NOTE: two orange boys, one with a tail and one without, from what we presume to be her previous litter before capture and the Niblets arrival, are still available for adoption at West Columbia Gorge Humane Society) but your Mama-to-be time is over. Congratulations, sweet Zuzu!
Yippee! We’re so glad her mothering days are over. Purrs for her speedy recovery!
Wishing her a quick recovery and I’m sure she’ll be glad not to have to do the child-rearing thing again.
We think Zuzu will have a wonderful life with her lovely daughter Viola.

Zuzu, welcome to the No More Wee Ones Club! We know this will make your life so much easier.
We had no idea that some of Zuzu’s previous offspring were still unadopted. We can hardly believe it. If they were even half as cute as the Niblets, we would have thought they would have been snapped up in a heartbeat. We’ll pray they soon find their own furever homes. We are glad ZuZu will now find that post baby days are good ones and we know she will be so glad to have one of her offsprings with her the rest of her life. I am so glad that Viola is with the family too.
We think she deserves a break form babies and we say speedy recovery sweet one. Have a marvellous Monday.

Con-cat-ulations Zuzu and welcome to the “Happy Housecat Club” from Mimi, enjoying my seventh year of spayed bliss! We still look back at some of those nursing photos and I really don’t know how I raised six litters–I’m glad you stopped at one. Enjoy your life!

Now that Zuzu is past this “business” and you both are settling in for keeps, ask your Mom and Dad if you can be the newest members of the Tabby Cat Club! Ask your sibling, it is the most funnest place to hang out and you’ll get to make great blogosphere Tabby friends. Pia’s boyfriend Dexter and I hang out there all the time and we’d love to have you! Think about it, and when you’re ready, go headbonk your mom while she’s on the computer so she’ll know to get ahold of Miss Gracie to get you in!
