Every home has one – The Lookout. And when it comes to Quint, he’s a good one.
SHHHH! Quiet, you guys! I think I heard Mom! She won’t be happy to hear your breakout plan to catch birds!
Bonus Lookout: Miss Newton watches out for Patrol Sergent mama Zuzu who dislikes all kinds of fun.

The West Columbia Gorge Humane Society dinner and auction over the weekend was fun and beneficial as always. We saw lots of shelter friends and a good amount of money was raised for this little shelter with a big heart. We were immensely proud to see one of the early Niblets photos featured under cats and kittens who had found homes…
…and sad to see sweet, orange boy Caine, the Seattle Seahawks fan, still without a forever family. He’s become very shy and subdued at the shelter in the years he’s been there and sadly, was unable to witness and celebrate his Seahawks win last season’s Superbowl. If only we weren’t a full house…
Last week, due to unforeseen circumstances and a bit of communication snafu-ery, we were unable to place Quint’s special 6×6 inch canvas set of seasonal paintings in the WCGHS auction. We were very disappointed, but with hopes of making something good of the situation and help out the shelter, next month we will offer that single set in the group of four – Spring, Summer, Autumn, and yet to be released Winter – online at Quint’s Art Shop for one hundred dollars.
This is a single set of four 6 inch by 6 inch canvases, each with a small easel, each signed, numbered, and dated. The Spring canvas was painted in 2013, Summer is from 2012, and both Autumn and Winter were painted this year.

We think this would be a terrific gift set for a collector of Quint’s work or that special cat admirer who thinks they have everything feline. Quint would love knowing his work continues to help his fellow shelter kitties while bringing joy to one special art lover. Will you be that one?
Hey, the look out is very impawtant. Here, it’s Leia. and we are sorry to hear that Caine is still without a family. Our hearts and purrayers go out to him.
Quint never disappoints us all with his lovely pictures. We will purr hard for Caine as he looks so forlorn and hope he will soon have a loving home.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
What a beautiful set that is. Mom would love to have those, but she says that she is tapped out right now. We know somebody is going to be enjoying those in their home very soon. Wow, we are so sorry that Caine is still waiting. We understand about having a full house. Sending purrs and prayers to him. That is a great lookout for you kitties! Such a darling pics of the niblets. Huge purrs and prayers that sweet Caine will find his special forever home where he is cherished. Sorry to hear that Quint’s set of paintings didn’t make the auction but we know that they will still bring in the money for the shelter in your shop…have a wonderful week everyone.

I am so sad that Caine has not found a home in so long! I can’t see why – he is orange and handsome!
LOL if you can’t break out at least settle in for some bird tv dudes. Sorry to hear Caine is still waiting for a home. Our paws are crossed. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Here’s hoping Caine finds his furrever home soon! I count nine…why not make it 10?!?! Just sayin’…
Wish it were that easy! We can’t have any more boy cats because of the strong personalities here. Don’t want to create another Pee King or Queen, and really, with so many of us here being as rowdy as we are, there’d be no quiet space for sweet, shy Caine. We’re still hoping someone will notice him!
We sure love Quint’s art and we love being lookouts too!
That is a really great collection of Quints fine feline work and we will keep a lookout to see if it is sold. We may even be able to meow Dad into adding this to our Quint showcase.
Timmy
Quint is a great artist and lookout too. It is sad that Caine has been waiting so long for his forever home. He is a handsome boy.
Thanks for stopping by with purrthday wishes. It was good to see you.
We’re all lookouts here! You can never have too many, y’know.
I love the Autumn painting best even tho I love them all. I hope they find a good home.
Can you put Caine on your FB page and then we can like or share him? You never know, right?
Will do! That’s a great idea!
We really love the winter painting. What a wonderful idea to raise money for the shelter.
And yes, please do put Caine on your FB page so we can share him. No kitty should have to stay in a shelter so long. There’s a forever family out there for him, we just know it.
I’m so sad cutie Caine has not found a home yet!! I hope the shelter can give him a better chance by exposing him everywhere. Make a special say for him, show him in newspapers, Facebook, Twitter, everywhere. And sometimes if they are relocated to another shelter (no-kill of course), they get another chance. Let’s all help Caine find his loving forever home!!
Having a lookout is very important! Good job, Quint. 🙂 And we love those paintings of yours, as always. Sorry the auction didn’t work out this time, but it sounds like things are going to work out nicely. We’re purring and praying for poor Caine to find a forever home of his own. Soon.
Sylvester is our LookOut!
That is wonderful that you’re offering a set of four paintings. We sure treasure the Tucker birthday painting we bought, even more now that he’s gone.
Espero que Caine encontre uma boa família para adotá-lo.
Those are some great paintings ! We hope they help kitties in need ! Purrs
Oh wow, bet our Mom would love Quint’s painting set! Poor Caine, crossed paws x 7 that he finds a wonderful home just like the HighCats and the Colehaus Cats.
Love the header and little set of kitties. Quint’s Autumn Skies is awesome. Hope this great idea help to get good amount of money.
