Not meaning to toot our own horn, and please forgive us for just a moment, but from the start, Quint has always had a very special relationship with the camera. He knows how to pose, understands the importance of light versus shadow and works within his surroundings like no one else. He helps us take better photos just by… being, something we constantly need help with. He just ‘gets’ it.

Is it his art-lovin’ thing? We don’t know. What did we do to deserve him? Was it that we just took a chance on a kitten from a stray litter? If so, that goes to show you never know what kind of sweetheart is out there waiting for a home and for someone to take a chance, huh?

Last month, our favorite vet office in all the world (just passed our 24 year anniversary with them), Feline Medical Clinic, asked for photos for their 2014 calendar. Sure, we thought we’d send one. Why not? Never expecting anything to come of it…

There are gorgeous cats inside, just gorgeous! We are floored and feel so honored that our boy Quint would be included with them, but we bet Quint knew. In that unassuming way he has, he knew.

How pawsome is that! But we can’t imagine there was another photo better for the cover than this.
We just bought Starry Night ! We’re so excited. Our very first feline created artwork. It’s a purrfect gift for our Mom for Chrissymouse. (Ok, technically we borrowed her card to pay for it, but still, it’s the thought that counts, right ?)
That is super super cool!! Quint is a special guy that’s for sure.
That is way cool and we are not surprised as Quint is quite the bees knees.
