Maxx wonders: … and why is it again I’m not the only cat? I keep forgetting your logic.
Better he wonder that than when’s dinner. Again.

If you missed it, Saturday’s Dear Niblets, Week Four post is here. If all goes well and forever families are out there somewhere, the Niblets will only be with us for another month. The jury’s still out on Erinn Zuzu. We’ll know more after she goes in for her Spay Day in a few weeks.
What’d’ya mean the jury’s still out? I’d like to stay, please, especially if you get rid of all those other cats.
And yeah, well, that’s the issue, isn’t it? Sweet Erinn Zuzu got along reasonably well with some of the other cats before the Niblets came along. After the Niblets, not in the least. We’re pretty sure that has something to do with being extra protective of her babies. Understandable. Probably something to do with her being a seething ball of hormones right now too. Again, understandable. We’ll evaluate again after her Spay Day in a few weeks and after the Niblets find forever homes. We think she might fit in well but she will fill the absolute last spot open at Colehaus Cats. There is no wiggle room. And if another sweetheart comes along next year, we’ll have to take a pass.
Oh, those are hard decisions! We truly hope Erin gets to stay. And that the Niblets find the most wonderful forever homes.
We are purring Erinn Zuzu gets to stay!
We vote Erin stays:) Oh those little Niblets are too cute xxooxx
Mollie and Alfie
We will purr for the purrfect outcome.
ERIN IS SUCH A SWEET AND LOVING MOM …SOME FUREVER FAMILIES WILL HAVE THE BEST ADAPTED KITTIES!!
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
oh, we never considered the Erinn would get to stay. We’re crossing our paws!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if humans had lots and lots of room and money to take care of all the fur people out there? We hope Erin gets to stay ‘cuz she brought such joy and love to your home. Mom keeps telling us she wants all the Niblets and we keep telling her there isn’t room. However, we know that there are wonderful forever homes out there and we hope the NIblets will all be super happy. Once they’re happy Erin can relax and then she’ll get along with the other cats. That’s what we’re all hoping here!
I hope Erinn decides she wants to fit in and stays. You sure you wouldn’t want a Niblet instead. I see your logic though that kittens are much easier to adopt out. Peace out.
We think keeping Erinn Zuzu would be wonderful! However, we know if it doesn’t work out she’ll get a wonderful home elsewhere 😉
Well! I am a little mad at Feedly because even with my human away at the Cat Writers Conference this weekend, I tried to keep up with everyone’s posts – and your Saturday post did not show up for me! Paws crossed that Erinn calms down post-spay. I know the kittens will find homes easily, but it is always harder for the moms – it would be great if she were already spoken for by you!
Awww cuties,xx Speedy
We too hope she fits and stays. Paws crossed. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
yep – most of our mom cats have been great – but there have been a few that are…umm….protective 🙂
Well, we hope that things work out so that Erinn Zuzu can stay there at the Colehaus. That would be a truly happy ending, if you ask us. 🙂
WE sure hope Erinn gets to stay too. All the cats around here have their differences but then get along all right. WE know just how you feel Maxx. Take care.
That’s a difficult decision to make. I hope it will work out fine for everyone. Pawkiss 🙂
We’re purring sweet Erinn Zuzu gets to stay. All Mommy’s are protective of their babies so we’re sure she’ll be okay with the other kitties once her babies are grown up and independent. 🙂
maxx & erinn…if ya just keep thinkin ta yur selves

kewl how that werks huh !!!
I hope Erinn gets to stay UNLESS someone wants to adopt her along with a Niblet — I adopted a mom and her last (almost grown) son and having the two of them together is wonderful. They love each other so much!
Huge hugs whatever decision is made will be positive x
As much as we would love Erinn Zuzu to stay with you, we understand that the others need to be considered too. We purr that everything works out.
I hope Erinn fits in well after the Niblets go to their new homes and she has her spay. Those are lovely photos of mum and babies.
Hope everything works out so every kitty is happy (most of the time at least). The good news is that the Niblets are so well socialized that each Niblet will be wonderful in their new home!
We hope the Niblets get wonderful forever homes when they are ready and that Erinn gets to stay with you!!
The Florida Furkids
Oh purrs to Mom Erinn! She would be so lucky to stay with you but we know you have to do the right thing and consider all your kitties.
Wow, have the Niblets really grown! We are purring what is meant to be will happen. All is good.
We’re with Sparkle! Uh, well, that is, our mom was with Sparkle’s human – and nooooo feedly. PFFFT! Maxx, Allie is in total agreement with you – she’d LOVE to be an ONLY – but barring that, would LOVE to find a new home for Faraday (MOL!)
We know that Momma Erinn and the Niblets will be living in the best of care no matter what.
