Oh Spring, I know you’re out there somewhere…
Quint’s been sitting at the window a lot lately as if he, along with the rest of the U.S., is looking forward to the arrival of spring. From his vantage point, he probably doesn’t see much happening in our garden but he’s got a good imagination.
And so, we’ve kept him busy with his painting. He dove right into his interpretation of spring 2014 with soft spring-like acrylic colors against a buttery-yellow background on both small canvas and artist paper. Think soft greens with apple blossom pinks.
And while spring takes it’s sweet ol’ time getting here, Quint hopes you’ll catch some of his spring fever. Please visit his art shop to see his latest creations – early Spring Blossoms 2014.

Beautiful work as always, Quint. We love the Spring feeling in the paintings. 🙂
More Quint masterpieces! We are also very much looking forward to spring this year.
Lovely, Quint. We still will do a post about ours, soon, we hope!
BTW, we’re in yet another freakin’ polar vortex this week, with temps plunging down to the minus 20s Celsius. So Spring certainly isn’t in a hurry to get to us!
It is quite springlike here today so our spring painting is in tune with the weather.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Aww, fall is our brother Quint’s favorite time of year because of all the yellow leaves. He LOVES the color yellow!
You create such beautiful paintings Quint.
Thank you, Flynn!
Lovely paintings as always, Quint! We like them so much better than the winter scenes that are outside our windows. 🙂
Wow Quint, your new paintings are just gorgeous!
Quint, you are not only a cool cat, you are also a talented cat! 🙂 Did you see Malou next to your Starry Night painting on one of our recent posts? Also, yesterday, we had a huge snowfall here in Vancouver, Canada.Yup.Strange weather…

Quint and Pia spied Malou sitting so pretty near your Starry Night painting. Pia’s eyes don’t miss anything and Quint, well, he just loved making those starry canvases. Mom was thinking of being up in that area last week and boy, is she glad she wasn’t. Crazy weather you had!
Oh Quint, we LOOOVE your art! Must go look at your latest, we need SOMEthing that looks like spring around here – it’s 2 degrees (at 2 in the afternoon!) on March 2, and SNOWING. UGH.
