We’ve been spring cleaning here and there (truth be told, we’re always spring cleaning around here) and last week, it was time to sort through the overstuffed sheets and blankets cabinet. Get rid of this, donate that. Items were flying left and right.
And when the fabric settled, Pia decided that semi-folded sage green mattelasse, the one an unknown someone whose name begins with the letters Q-U-I-N-T chewed a hole through in the exact center, wouldn’t be going anywhere.
Pia made a little pocket for herself and thus, added yet another to her list of nicknames – Little Pia Pita Pocket. Just try saying that three times real fast.
“Little Pia Pita Pocket. Little Pita Pia Pocket. Little Pita Pita Piaket. Little….aw, forget it.”
Perhaps the hole was to claim it so you would keep it! Enjoy Little Pia Pita Pocket!
Ewww! But it had Brother-spit on it!
She makes a cute pitta pocket filler.
That’s a tongue twister, for sure. 🙂
But she sure makes an adorable pita pocket!
I think Pia looks very cute in her new spot.
I had a Siamese who chewed everything.
Socks, sweaters, shirts .. why, I don’t know but she was a wild one that’s for sure.
Enjoy your weekend,
JC and The Purr and Fur Gang
Gosh, we hope this doesn’t become such the habit. So far, he’s chewed two blankets and a towel, and almost the corner off a pillowcase! We’re going to have his teeth checked at his next vet visit this summer. Shhh! Don’t tell him though.
Pia, we think you made a great pita pocket for yourself. We always try to get under the rugs. We hope you have a fabulous weekend!!!
Oh, that’s an idea we don’t need with all the rugs around here! LOL!
way ta go quint !!!! N little pia pita pocket poses pretty pawsome !!! hope everee one haza grate week oh end !
We’re betting there’s a song in there some-oh-where….!
That’s a great pita pocket! Are the humans going to leave it for you to sleep in, Pia, or did they pick it up in a fit of spring cleaning?
I had my pocket for the rest of the day and then, *poof!* my pocket disappeareded. Something about other kitties getting to enjoy it somewhere else. Hope they don’t mind Brother-Spit (even if Mom washed it, I’d be able to tell something wasn’t right).
It IS hard to say 3 times fast! lol
Pia Pita Pocket, Pia Pitta Pocccket, Pa Ptttta Pocettt, you got me. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
Petite Pia Purrfect Pita Pocket would be even harder. How dare Quint chew through something so nice. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
Or Picturing Petite Pia’s Purrfectly Pawsome Pita Pocket. Geesh! We can hardly say that one once just right! LOL!
We think Pia makes a deliciously sweet pita filling. 🙂
I think some humans should invent a pita pocket cat bed – and give you royalties, Pia!
That’s a good idea…especially if it doesn’t come with a hole chewed in it! Goofy Quint, what was he thinking??!?
Mommy wants a bite o’Pita Pia Pocket!
We strongly recommend the belly area, though the furry toesies are very sweet and tender…
very clever pia. now wait and you’ll see a pita pocket beddie for cats on the informercials. they should give you royalties when that happens.
Little Pia Pita Pocket, Little Pia pita pocket, Little Pia chia pet… D’oh!
😀
Pia, your folks need to leave that blankie exactly where and how it is just for you!
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
pee ess: Quint, you need to keep working on that blankie and the holes…it’s a great craft technique I call lacing…your mom will love the effect! purrs, Pip
Pia that looks like a pawesome girlcat tent! Uh, Quint dood is that coming out of your painting proceeds? Just wondering…!
Hey! That’s a good idea! Quint….? Hmm, he seems to have stepped out of the room at the moment….
Ficou perfeito para Pia! Boa escolha!
Bom final de semana
We like a nice fluffy blanket any time Dad brings one out of hiding. Pia and her pocket look so comfy.
Oh that was a bit naughty, Quint, but I am still a pervent fan! xoxox
OOOPS! My gosh! FERVENT not pervent!
