We’re moving Monday? Can we do that? I’ve never been a big fan of Mondays so, yeah, if we could move them elsewhere, I’m all for it!
No, sweet Ruby, we’re not moving Monday. Today is moving day for Sunny. She’s moving in with you!
Sunny’s going to be my roommate? I like Sunny! She’s quiet and shares Dad… She’s not going to steal my tower, is she?
No, sweetie. Sunny has her own tower and her own toys and we bet she’ll keep sharing Dad with you.
Don’t forget me! I stay in here, too!
Nope, not forgetting you either, Zuzu. We know you and Sunny get along great together.
We moved Sunny into the big master bedroom today where Ruby spends her days and nights, and Zuzu spends her nights, living in luxury with skylights and windows overlooking the backyard, with boxes of toys, heated cat towers, and a huge bed to nap on without worry of more outgoing, rambunctious kitties sticking their noses you know where and racing about trying to instigate chases. Not that any other cats here would do such a thing. Not pointing fingers and certainly not at love panther Olivia or jumping bean Viola!
All of Sunny’s things have been moved in; her tower, box of toys, favorite blankets, her Sureflap feeder and her personal water fountain, (Note to Mom: Purchase ear plugs soon!) and she’s already staked her claim under the fleece blanket.
And taken over supervising Dad when he works at home and during his work conference calls.
Sunny’s feeling better than she probably has in years. Her stitches were removed last week and already, her fur is growing back where the vet shaved it before removing the cyst along her spine. She’s eating well, is completely switched over from kibble to wet food, and is at a very good weight for her. Her personality has brightened a bit and she seems happier.
For her next step, we hope more of her personality comes out, now that all her urgent vet procedures have been addressed, so we can get a bead on her own voice, something that to date, and righteously so, has been grumpy, grumpier, and grumpiest.
C’mon, pretty girl, just a little smile?
I am sure sweet sunny will soon be smiling now, and hope she will be very happy in the master bedroom.
Sunny’s story is so wonderful, and she is such a beautiful girl! Enjoy your new digs!
Now that is the only way to move. We hope everyone is very happy together.
If any place can bring more sunshine to Sunny, it’s Colehaus!
What a lot of love can do! Thanks to your love she’s Sunny!
Emma and Buster
It’s hard to have a good disposition when you aren’t feeling great and you’re getting a bit pestered on top of it! I’m sure Sunny will be more, well, sunny in time!
What a wonderful day! We hope Sunny will be very happy in her new digs.

I am glad Sunny is coming along 🙂
Glad everyone seems to be OK with the move. Did you have to show Sunny’s bare spot? Give her space on this.
It’s so wonderful to hear about a healthy and happy Sunny, hugs sweetie.
Oh I am loving this sweet news about Sunny, whom I love.
It’s nice to have a roommate that brings her own stuff and won’t try to take yours. 🙂
Well, that sounds like a good kind of moving! We are so happy for Sunny, Zuzu and Ruby. 🙂
We hope you love your new real estate, Sunny. You are a real sweetheart 🙂
