Thank you for all your good thoughts, prayers, and good wishes last week for Sunny and her test results. They worked!
Sunny was happy and frisky all weekend, and we’re happy too, after receiving news that her removed fluid cyst and underlying mass that had formed along her spine was benign, nothing more than a sweat pore that had gone bonkers. Her stitches come out today and she has nothing more, vet visit-wise, until her yearly check up next year. Nothing more to do other than to grow back that big patch of shaved fur on her back. That and to keep trying to goad Miss Newton into playing chase.

… there is one little orange girl here who is on Santa’s naughty list. What ever happened to the yeow-ly, but sweet dilute ginger girl we knew? Miss Newton has spent the past few months jumping up to places she’s known for years she’s not supposed to go, and Dad seems to constantly be yelling at her to stay down… for all the good that does…

It’s just that time of year! Mom says we are both getting into all sorts of things and knocking things down and running and jumping. We just can’t wait for Christmas and we’re sure that’s the case in your house, too! Hang in there……….Santa will still visit all of you! 🙂
How do your humans keep the rest of you from those pawesome high perches? We have to agree with Miss Newton that they look like the best seats in the house.
The only other kitty who likes high places is Viola with her springy-sprongy legs, but we think that’s because she plays Monkey See, Monkey Do.

We love Bernadette! It sounds to me like the hierarchy is rearranging, with some growing pains. Happens sometimes in multi-cat families.
I love that pose Miss Newton is in in that last pic! There’s an orange female tabby here (Annie) who never gets into trouble but that’s because her legs are so short she can’t jump to those forbidden places.
That’s great about Sunny’s cyst being benign. I saw that on FB.
