Forgive us while we take a few days off from blogging here. We’ve been hit with another expense; our natural gas heater died yesterday during out 45 degree daytime high, and with the supply chain issue STILL going on, parts won’t be available until sometime next week. And our area is forecasting snow for Sunday/Monday. Our heating company of choice took pity on us and left us a really, really wobbly and rusty space heater that, well, Mom took one look at and said, “No.” And then added, “Geesh! How much more do we have to go through?”
*sigh*
We’ll be back next week and undoubtedly will fill you in on our latest “adventure.” Good thing we have several warming mats and blankets set up all around the place for the cats, as is usual for this time of year. We might just fight them for a corner to sleep on ourselves!

Purrs for a miracle and the parts can come sooner.
Purrs the temps will not be as cold as predicted.

Sending purrs for a speedy fix!
Good grief ! Sending purrs and purrayers for all !
Oh my…I’m sorry. Sometimes it seems like there’s no end to the problems…
Oh no! We sure hope things get fixed real soon. XO
Sorry, you can’t catch a break- well, not the good kind of break. XO
I am sorry to hear you have more expense, and you definitely need heating through the cold winter days. I hope the parts arrive quicker than expected. We have been getting 35F high by day and 18F at night so the wood burner has been going flat out.
Geez, we wish you’d get a break! We hope the parts come soon!
Can you rent a good space heater from a DIY store? If not maybe your electric company or your County Government can provide some source.
Good ideas! Thanks for those suggestions! The heater fixer people loaned us a space heater. Having never used on, we were surprised at how little they actually put out heat but it was better than nothing!
