We had a discussion with Tessa and other Colehaus Cats over the weekend about what Mom perceives as the glaringly huge lack of Christmas spirit amongst all around here. Tessa kept her attention focused on the one-sided conversation, didn’t yawn once or look away. She also didn’t volunteer to be this year’s Christmas card cat. We don’t blame her. She’s been feeling a little under the weather and we think she may need dental work done. Good luck getting an appointment for that anytime soon! Sorry sweetie.
Pia, on the other paw, looked at us as though we were mad. “Absolutely not!” she insisted and vowed to stay wedged between two big chairs until that madness had passed. You’d have thought we were discussing giving her a haircut or something. By the way, Pia Puff, you, Mom, your pantaloons, and the clippers are scheduled for a meetup soon.
Olivia, Olivia, you’ve been on the least number of Colehaus Christmas cards. How about it this year? Mom insists you’d be beautifully perfect for this year’s card, especially posing with a white and sparkly backdrop. What do you say?
When you can capture my image in focus reliably, my people will contact your people.
When we asked Viola, we had to find her first and she was indisposed in a litter box. We’ll ask at a better time.
That left Quint.
Only if I can be a shepherd. I’ll pretend I’m in the snowy fields tending my . . . uh, my sheep, no, my mousies, or rather, my favorite mousie. Tell me that wouldn’t be the best card ever!
Um, hmm, well, maybe our people will contact your people.

While there is only me here, all those excuses have probably been voiced by me 😉
As soon as I see the camera (or phone) I look away 😉 Drives mum nuts! (she does not have far to go,MOL)

At my house, the minute Momma’s camera or phone comes out, I look away. Unless she has treats or my favorite Churu. Here’s a good photo tip for yoor Momma: gather a group of new toys and sprinkle with nip. Cover a flat-like tray with Christmas paper, then drop all the toys into the tray. Surround the tray with a string of Christmas lights. Then relax on the couch with yoor camera flipped upside down so the lens is at the bottom. While yoor furbabies are playing, yoo can capture amazing photos of their Joy. Good luck! love, Dori
That would be the best card ever Quint.
That’s one serious round of ‘meh’!
Your photo made me laugh, Quint! I hope one of you will come up trumps.
Hope someone changes their mind!
It will be interesting to see if anycat caves 😉

There’s still time, right? 🙂
