I thought we were done with workers this year, Dad. I’m calling shenanigans here, from the comfort of my blue blanket fort. Shenanigans I say!
It’s true. We have workers here today though not for the living room ceiling (no time line on that mess). Months ago, Mom ordered new blinds for a couple of our upstairs windows that restoration workers damaged and today, those blinds are finally being installed. Mom is very happy. Quint is less so but nothing a good snuggle in his velvety soft blue blanket fort won’t solve.
Next week, a tree crew comes to remove our big 30 foot golden arborvitae and though that work will happen outside, chain saws will be buzzing right outside the window to Quint’s favorite room. We’re pretty sure he’ll be calling shenanigans then, too. Maybe even high jinks, and monkey business!

Oh dear, Quint!
Why can’t things be quiet and peaceful for you?
Glad things are moving along. . but Quint, sorry you have to deal with the noise.
Never mind Quint! At least things are getting done and you will get your peace and quiet back.
Hi, I have a blankie the same color as yours, and it’s soft and cozy and I luvs getting under it for nappies … sometime soon I’ll show my pickshur which looks alot like yours! I think I’d run away from all that noisy-noise, it will be awful methinks. Get earmuffs!
Thank goodness you have a tried and true blanket fort Quinn. They are so helpful at times like these.
There’s always someone for you to hide from!
Yes, those are some serious shenanigans, Quint. But we are glad things are finally getting done there. 🙂
