Library cats Miss Newton and Tessa, while technically not supposed to be on the short wall that overlooks that big drop all the way down to the first floor, says phooey to that and reminds Mom that autumn is the best time to read while sitting with cats. Also, all libraries should have cats. Period.

We agree on both counts.
OMC, that looks like a purrfect resting place for kitties. And, oh my, our mom is pea green with envy over your incredible library. Hope your humans spend some time reading and cuddling you kitties today. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Miss Newton and Tessa don’t care for any technicalities! Am thinking I could fill all of your bookshelves with cat books…hahaha!
Everywhere should have cats!!!
Hugs madi and mom
not supposed to be on the short wall…MOL!!!
I totally agree with all libraries needing cats! I don’t think ANY in Los Angeles have kitties, which is awful!
We agree, cats and books are a great combination ! Purrs
they look PURRFECT there!
I love your library and of course your cats. Throw in a cup of tea and I’m all set.

Reading and cats go together naturally!
Yes, all libraries should have cats. Lots of them. So adorable.
Have a purrfect day. ☺
We agree! Every library and bookstore should have cats! Reading in not the same without a cat in your lap!

I wish all the places of business as well also had cats. They make excellent clerks, door greeters, cashiers, security, warmers, loving lap companions…calmer, oh they are worth their weight in gold!
Us cats always do what we’re not supposed to do. It’s what being a cat is all about.
Frodo also spent today not listening to mom! And I love love love your library – how do you have so many books are you a prof ? And yes–every library should have books!
Our Mom says all those books are thirty years of collecting, mostly fiction, a third non-fiction. She says she’s had books longer than cats. We don’t find that funny in the least.
You are so right! And I am totally envious of your library 🙂
That is a gorgeous library! Miss Newton and Tessa just make it even more lovely.
I would love it if my library had a cat.
That’s a fun photo to make into a puzzle.
Well, yeah. Of course that’s the best place for you to hang out, Miss Newton and Tessa. Despite what your humans say!
Rules don’t apply to cats. And those are the nicest bookshelves we have EVER seen!
We totally agree, miss Newton and Tessa. I think reading and cats go paw to paw 😀 Pawkisses for a silent Tuesday 🙂 <3
YAY!!! Another puzzle!! Two of my favorite things … books and cats. One can’t go wrong with both on one’s lap 😉
Miss Newton and Tessa … who wants to go first?!?
That looks like a nice relaxing place to watch what is going on.
Mom Paula is beginning to read again since she is retired! Best thing is cats and a good book.
All libraries should have cats. I am off to do the puzzle 🙂
