It’s official. Very standoffish neighborhood visitor Tippy is staying/sleeping in one of our heated feral shelters (the one christened Spitty’s Place, yes, after that Spitty we all dearly loved). We replaced the outdoor heating mats last month and filled the shelter with fresh straw and yesterday, Mom witnessed Tippy leaving and returning to the shelter. Mom may have squealed with delight. Oh, heck. She DID squeal with delight.
Elsewhere . . .
. . . Mom’s had a hard time getting anyone to participate in holiday photoshoots. Yesterday, Mom was talking to herself and mentioned she needed lights for the holiday set. Olivia rushed into the room only to be disappointed that Mom had said “lights,” not “bites.” It’s a known fact that Olivia, when extra playful, has taken to occasionally giving Mom’s fingers little nibbles. And while cute at the moment, we don’t want this behavior to grow into bites. Right, Olivia?
Disappointed Olivia thinks a holiday bites photo would be better. People would like it, you could imagine her thinking. It might even start a new pet holiday card trend!
Um . . . no.
Are we still talking about taking photos? Really, Mom?

I am glad Tippy is making use of the heated shelter.
Wonderful news about Tippy!
Glad Tippy is using the heated shelter. You all look cute even if you don’t want too cooperate.
me again- I meant to cooperate, not too. 🙂
Hooray for Tippy! We bet it’s nice and cozy in there.
We sure hope those photos work out, eventually. 🙂
