Once, there was this lonely little box. It came from humble beginnings and perhaps, after a few missteps in politics, at one time, it may or may not have dabbled with the bright lights of a production studio but decided Hollywood wasn’t the right fit. No, what this box really craved was to solidify its place in the world as a kind of friendly, canned cat food representative for a major corporation.
And also, as a cat box.
Oh, there were skeptics. Is it really a cat box? Isn’t it really just trying to look like a cat box? it’s pretty small for a cat box. I’m not picking up the “cat box” vibe. No, I’m not going to fall for its weak antics, trying to be something, clearly, that it’s not.
Hmm, looks like a box. Smells like a box. It just might be . . . a box.
I’ll be the judge of whether it’s a box or not! Few things in this world can pass the Tessa test!
I’m on to you, box! If you aren’t really a box, you’d better confess now! I have the upper hand!
Here’s your greatest test! You aren’t really a box unless a cat can fit in you. No shenanigans now!
Hmm, feels like a box. Fits like a box. And better still, a box fit for a cat!
Hey! This box is mine! I’m staking my claim right here, right now! This box shall be mine and mine alone. No one else shall take this box, lay in this box, even sniff this box. It’s mine and hereforeafter be known as the box that belongs to Tessa.
And the little box was happy, until later, when Tessa broke through its small, short sides and scratched the bottom all to bits and unceremoniously, Dad tossed it in the recycling bin . . .
. . . to begin its life anew again, perhaps, recycled into a real cat scratcher! It could happen!

Even if all you can fit in is feets, the cat has to try the box! That one looks like a good fit
Aww, poor little box! Maybe Tessa needs one that is a bit bigger
Poor Tessa you need a new box now.
Boxing is always lots of fun!
You did it, Tessa! You made that box your own.
That box had a very full life at your house!
That box was yours, for sure, Tessa! We are sorry its stay was short-lived.
