Today, we’re listing five statements that may or may not be true. Two are absolute truths and three are wild statements without a shred of honesty whatsoever. Can you spot the whoppers?
Think you know these Colehaus Cats?
1 – As kittens who did not like each other, Mom got so fed up with the fighting she made Quint and Olivia spend an entire week together in a closed bedroom after which they became, and remain to this day, inseparable.
2 – Tessa’s favorite annoying thing to do is to reach up and press the ice maker lever on the refrigerator, leaving ice cubes all over the kitchen floor.
3 – All Colehaus cats love Mom’s shoes.
4 – Viola has an outdoor neighbor cat boyfriend.
5 – Pia only meows when she doesn’t feel well. Otherwise, she “peeps” which earned her the nickname Pia Peeper.
So, how’d you do?
Numbers 1 and 5 are honest truths. Quint and Olivia snuggle and play together often, and Mom remains wildly happy about that. Pia Peeper continues her peeping daily, unless she’s growling at brother Quint. Hey, maybe those two should have a week’s time-out together!
Number 2, 3 and 4 are complete fibs. If Tessa thought to litter the floor with ice cubes from the ice maker, the joke’s on her. Our refrigerator ice maker hasn’t worked since 2015. Pia once thought she liked Mom’s old slippers. One good whiff changed that thinking. And while she has been visited upon by outdoor neighbor cat Wally Olly Porkchop a time or two, Viola only has eyes for Mom and Dad. No boyfriends for this Niblet!

Viola, we know there is a gorgeous mancat out there, waiting to be your boyfriend!
You stumped us!
The Florida Furkids
I didn’t do well with those either!
I sure guessed wrong on the shoes! All the cats at our house love shoes, the stinkier the better.
Hey wait, we didn’t think there would be THREE fibs!
Well, we didn’t even try to guess…just waited for the answers. They all sounded likely to us. XOCK, Kitties Blue
I was half right. I said 2 and 5.
We thought 2 and 3 were fibs…but weren’t sure of the other ones.
I thought 1 and 2 were whoppers 🙂
Whoa! Shows you how much I know.
True, False, False, True, True. Ok, we know that means we got at least one wrong. But we loved them all. We will have to try that ourselves sometime!
I got #5 right! #1 surprised me.
Mom was right. We still think she cheated, but we’ll let her go ahead and think she’s smart. Mom said to tell you that Steinbeck just squeaks a real tiny squeak unless he’s at the vet’s. Mom tends to call him “squeaker”. Hemingway does more of a purr…ow, again, unless he’s going to the vet.
Have a great weekend……..Hemingway, Steinbeck and Mom
Yay, we got them right! Our Ava did not know how to meow when we first adopted her. She used to peep like a bird, too, so her nickname is PeePee. 🙂
