Roving Reporter Olivia here, reporting on what needs to be reported, according to Mom. If I was REALLY in charge, there’d be no flower photos or visitor photos; just evidence of mischief occurring everywhere!
Okay, Olivia, do you want to help with this post or not? Your choice.
*sigh* Moving along, Mom wants to show off the colors outside. I have to admit, trees and leaves and things are pretty bright right now.
Mom’s cyclamen, a gift from Dad back in 2017, was planted outside over the past summer months. Mom doesn’t think it’ll survive our cold winter, even heavily mulched like it is, but knew it wouldn’t survive much longer inside either. It was so happy, it bloomed all summer long. Mom says if it lives, she’ll try to take it to wherever we move to if we lose the house next spring. How does someone lose a whole house? Mom says it’s complicated and not to worry my pretty panther head.
Okay, back inside,
Mom brought some of those outside colors in. Looks like a mess of leaves. I’ll bet my troublesome sister Tessa would love to get a hold of some of those!
Speaking of my sister, here’s one of Mom’s most favorite things, a giant pine cone, allegedly from a giant redwood tree (don’t quote me on that!). One year, Tessa attacked this pine cone and bunny kicked it until parts broke off it. Mom was very sad.
Tessa: I most certainly did not. Let me think. Hmmm, nope. Never touched that pokey thing.
Did so. I remember it.
Tessa: You remember wrong, Olivia. That’s all I’m going to say about it.
Okay, we’ll agree to disagree. But you did scatter toys everywhere. Still do.
Tessa: Grrr. . .
Back outside, where there’s no arguing,
Wally Olly Porkchop loves our cooler weather. So does neighbor cat W who likes hunting fall mousies in neighboring yards.
Mom says don’t forget to mention visitor BT, the raccoon with the bent tail. Dad sees BT more often now than Mom because of different work schedules, but she says she knows BT is sleeping over some nights in Geoffrey’s House that was recently repacked with fresh straw. Smart raccoon!Well, that’s about all Mom’s going to let me report on today. You can believe I have a whole list of infractions by various sisters and a brother just waiting to be spilled like tuna juice on carpet. Mmm, stinky goodness!

What a great bunch of pictures. Such pretty flowers. You all have a terrific day.
Fall is such a beautiful time of year, those are beautiful photos and beautiful kitties!
Beautiful beautiful colors. We continue to purr for you all and send love.
That is some really fine reporting Olivia. We like all the photos so keep Mom around to do that kind of thing alright
Oh, The Hubby would really enjoy a pine cone like that! Every year, he reminisces about making pine cone wreaths as a child. I tell him to go make some, since we have pine cones in the yard, but I think that he wants ME to start the project…! Sending more purrs, for a new job to appear!
Beautiful fall pictures ! We keep purring for you. Purrs
Beautiful fall photos. I love burning bush. We have one and I would like more, but apparently they are banned because they are considered invasive.
Are any of these fall scenes going to be inspiration for Quint?
Those colors look like a wonderful art gallery!
Beautiful flowers. The colors are amazing.
The Florida Furkids
The flowers are beautiful and I love the burning bush and Japanese maple. I also love Wally Olly Porkchop’s name!
The colors are gorgeous…both inside and out. 🙂
Such beautiful colors outside at your house. Tessa … did you really take on that giant pinecone? Impressive!
Japanese maple! We had one of those growing up and it was my favorite climbing tree! Now, Tessa, you’re getting a reputation …
That was quite an extensive report. All the outside colors and inside fall decor are very inviting. Looks like some nice colors Quint could paint. So, Tessa seems to have a case of selective memory. We have a resident raccoon, but we never see him. He likes to use our litter boxes on the catio. Dad saw him the other night and says he’s about 30 pounds…hefty coon!
