Hey! There’s my toys!
And there’s my favorite toy of all! Oh, toy, come out, come out, come out from under the couch!
Big brother, can your long legs help me help myself to reach my toys? You’re welcome to leave those dust bunnies for Mom.
Okay, since my toys are out of reach* I guess I’ll play in this water bowl. My sister Tessa does it all the time, so why shouldn’t I?
I left my mark on my Mom’s shoe because we both have big shoes to fill . . . or something like that. I don’t really understand that saying.
It’s time for third afternoon nap. Good thing I got through my list of stuff to look at early!
*These are not all of Viola’s toys. In fact, she has a big tub and two baskets full of toys to choose from, all containing at least five other toys exactly like this one.

As you know, Dad has had a really tough time finding a job after being laid off in August. While we’re down to a single old computer and limited time available online when he’s not looking for a job, we’ve not been able to spend as much time as we’re used to visiting others, leaving comments and creating our own Colehaus Cats blog posts.
Going forward, until Dad finds a job or we lose our house – a very real possibility now, or both or perhaps neither, we’re taking a break from Colehaus Cats to focus on a future, hopefully one that holds bright, joyful and prosperous things. We have posts ready through the end of October and with some luck, we’ll be back a few weeks later.
Thank you for your patience with us and thank you so very much for visiting!

We totally get it…. No such thing as enough toys. Sigh.. hoomins just don’t understand.
It is fun to find toys under things. We are so sorry you all are having such a hard time. We sure have our paws crossed for you for everything to get better.
We call those bonus toys when they are found again. We’re thinking of you each and every day and will be most thankful when y’all can find normal again.
The best toys are the ones that can’t be reached! And we’re still thinking of you and hoping for good news soon.
The Hubby has a yardstick for me to use, to pull out toys that Da Boyz hide under stuff!
Again, wishing you good luck on the job hunt, and am sure that gainful employment is waiting for you just around the corner!
The best toys are always out of reach! I’m purring lots for you guys.
Sweet Viola, we fink all the best toys like to hide under the couch.
You should see all the toys under our china cabinet!
Mum found my toys under her bed. She hasn’t gotten them out yet either.
Good vibes to the Dad.
Such a cute little paw print. I am praying your Dad gets a job.
Sorry you’re having a hard time at the moment.
The cute paw print was the sweetest thing.
Hahaha. The Boy doesn’t understand why Momma regularly goes through the house and frees all the toys – because we have so many we’d never run out – but Momma’s good like that. It’s just not the same to play with a non-sparkle ball!
May your dad find a new job very soon! We hope you will all have a very bright future.
We understand the need to concentrate on finding a job. Mom had to go through that, too. Sometimes we wish our paws could type out things on the keyboard so we could let people know what’s happening. But our paws are too big and clumsy. When we type, it comes out asdlkjfoenalneoablakdk And nobody understands! We’re putting our paws together and praying that your dad finds a job soon and that you can relax and be happy. We think of you often. You have been so kind and we just know there’s something bright and shining on the horizon for you.
But WHY aren’t those YOUR toys, Viola?
We love you guys, and are purring and praying for a job for dad real soon.
