Deep in the laminate forest, a house panther on silent paws searches for her prey when suddenly . . .
. . . a cozy hammick appeared smartly placed in front of a sunshiny window! The house panther had to check it out, for its support and cozy factor, and found it much to her liking.
Later, a wandering kickstick needed some attention or maybe just a hug. It’s a known fact kicksticks get lonely, too. The house panther felt happy knowing she was doing her part to help combat kickstick depression.
And so later still, the house panther deserved a tower nap with the warm sun at her back and on her paws.
Before second lunch, the house panther demanded a combing. Don’t listen to that lady who says the house panther sometimes tries to eat the comb. We all know that would be silly and pointless, as all combs want nothing more than to interact with house panthers and to keep them smooth and shiny.
New Autumn décor on the table! The house panther approves because any excuse to get up onto the dining table is a good one. Hmm, needs chicken.
The end. I approved this post because everything Mom typed here is true.

As you know, Dad has had a really tough time finding a job after being laid off in August. While we’re down to a single old computer and limited time available online when he’s not looking for a job, we’ve not been able to spend as much time as we’re used to visiting others, leaving comments and creating our own Colehaus Cats blog posts.
Going forward, until Dad finds a job or we lose our house – a very real possibility now, or both or perhaps neither, we’re taking a break from Colehaus Cats to focus on a future, hopefully one that holds bright, joyful and prosperous things. We have posts ready through the end of October and with some luck, we’ll be back a few weeks later.
Thank you for your patience with us and thank you so very much for visiting!
