Tell us a story, Pia. Tell everyone a little about yourself.
Why?
Hmm, well, we thought you might have something on your mind and would like to share it. In story form, perhaps. You seem to always have something to say every morning before Mom goes to work. Share some of that, please?
MOM! MOM! MOM! I’m STARVING (for kibble)!
That’s it?
You said share what’s on my mind early in the morning before you go to work. That’s what’s on my mind.
If we hadn’t, somehow, gotten you addicted to getting 10 pieces of kibble every morning, would you have something better to say?
10 pieces?? That’s all you’re giving me? Sheesh, I really am starving (for kibble).
Pia, you get a full can of food twice a day AND another 10 pieces of kibble late in the afternoon every afternoon. You aren’t starving for anything.
Starving for attention, understanding, and a little compassion, maybe . . .
Okay, this has gone off the rails. Do you have anything else to share, besides . . .
. . . that I’m starving? Let’s see. Once there was a cat and she was very cute and she liked kibble a whole lot and . . .
Okay, we see where this is going. Maybe this wasn’t the best idea today.
Mom, remember that photo you posted of me a couple of weeks ago, the embarrassing one? Just wanted to make sure you remembered it.
Ah, okay, Pia. Understood. Ginger girls never forget, do they?

Hahaha!
An orange cat never gives up hope! (Signed, Lucy the orange cat)
You are so beautiful Pia, and I would have to give you whatever you wanted!
She asked, right?
Such a sad story. I hope the beautiful cat doesn’t starve. XO
Your story certainly got straight to the point, Pia!
