Oh September! You’re done and over now.
Not that I know what a September is anyh-OW!
Where did summer go?
Well, how would I know?
You’ve given way to an autumn display
Or so what my Mom and Dad say.
To me, it could be September every day!

September’s over with and Mom is woefully behind on her yard work. She claims work overtime and this whole shower restoration thing took up all her spare time. Perhaps. Maybe she simply needs someone to help out.
Pia, do you want to come outside to help Mom cut back and haul out some branches and brush?
I am helping Mom. I’m helping her by staying safe and warm inside while supervising her work from this window. She dropped a bunch of leaves, by the way.

We can relate to being behind on yard work and trimming. With my foot surgery in January, none of the spring work happened so I’m playing catch up this fall.
It’s hard to believe we are already looking at October!
