I don’t like the light outside today. It’s winter now, isn’t it, Mom?
It’s Autumn now, sweetie, and you’re right. The light is changing. It’s getting lighter later in the morning and darker earlier in the evening. It won’t be long before golden sunlight slants through our windows just right to make those awesome sunpuddles you like. Soon, the mornings will feel chilly, too.
I don’t like Autumn. Summer rushed by too fast! Can’t someone make it be summer all the time? Tuxie cats only like summer, based on what I’ve heard.
Tessa, you’ve gone through ten summers and ten autumns with us. You know we can’t have a summer without having the other seasons as well. Autumn is the start of snuggle weather. Aren’t you ready for some snuggling?
Don’t rush me, Mom!

Tessa, we feel the exact same way as you.
Sadie says: Fall is the time of year when the people finally get out the GOOD blankets. Maybe your people will do the same.
I don’t like the shorter colder days either.
I will trade you Tessa- you can have my summer for your fall. 🙂 XO
Tessa, we can’t figure out where summer went, either. We like autumn, but winter is a whole other story…
