Today’s Friday Flashback is with house panther Olivia who likes to be called Baby Panther. Fairly recently, we went through a health scare with her that may have been pancreatitis. She lost about a pound and a half and all desire to do much of anything.
Today, she’s slowly regaining weight and is jumping up on the kitchen counters, begging for cheese (this is new behavior), and sniffs noses with just about anyone (another new development).
Baby Panther Olivia came to us in 2012 as a BOGO kitten adoption event deal; Buy One, Get One free. We were originally there to inquire about baby kitten Quint.
She easily won our hearts and eventually, after spending a month in a bedroom with Quint in which they settled all their hissy kitten-y differences, she won his heart too.
Olivia as a young teen. So serious, yet edgy!
Still likes sitting in the sun, still loves her brother Quint, still the baby panther of the house.

You are beautiful, Olivia!
They are both so very precious!
Aw what a sweet girl.
Glad Olivia is doing better. She looks so sweet with Quint.
So happy she’s feeling better. What a beauty.
Such a sweetie. Glad she is feeling better. XO
We lost a doggo to pancreatitis a couple years ago. Our house panthers are in good health. One of them could be called a fat hairy potato.
We are so happy Olivia is on the mend. And we loved this little pictorial history about her. XO
Maybe Olivia’s health scare caused her to appreciate her housemates a bit more…
