Unlike her brother Quint, Pia has patience when it comes to some disruption in her routine. She’s come to accept Mom isn’t available to sit on the couch with her to watch the sun come up on Mom’s work days. And on Mom’s off days, Pia lets Mom know if it’s taking too long to settle in on the couch. That’s Pia’s version of patience and she’ll elaborate if you ask for details.
Olivia, on the other paw, flip-flops on the whole patience thing. She will calmly, and at great length, show you the various arts of being stealthy, but sit down with a croissant or a spoonful of non-dairy ice cream, and she’ll shred your leg forcing you to let her have a sniff. Or a lick, not once but until that tasty treat is completely gone AND she’s truly convinced of that. Thankfully, we rarely have either croissants or ice cream, dairy or non, in the house, so our legs are reasonably safe. Olivia would just like everyone to know she’s on high alert for such treats, and in the meantime, quietly and in an out-of-the way spot, she patiently keeps her claws well groomed and prepared.

Is this bathroom rebuilding week? Only an Amazon delivery person knows for sure.

Da Boyz will try to pull their food bowls off of the counter by jumping on their back legs while their front paws claw!
Patience? No way!
We eat ice cream a lot so I guess we would have shredded legs. 🙂
Pia looks very patient sitting there.
Patience or not, ice cream and croissants sound yum to us!
