Like Miss Newton always leaving one of her IKEA rats on the steps overnight and kitties furring up blankets in tower cubbie holes, we have schedules in this house. Sometimes, those schedules change.
Dad being here all day is something new and something the Colehaus Cats have enjoyed, even if they all sleep most of the day (the cats, not Dad)
Today, a new schedule begins with Mom returning to the work force. Her job pay isn’t enough to afford running the household, not even close, and barely enough to afford just the monthly mortgage payment (we’re still hoping finding a new job for Dad will fill in the rest) but every little bit helps, right?
Obviously, Viola is excited.
“Don’t forget to leave Dad our daily kisses and treats schedule, Mom!”
Sure, little girl. Sure.
(The Colehaus Cats have NO kisses and treats schedule. Nice try there, Viola.)

Everyone looks so adorable. Pia looks especially floofy too. We’re glad your mom found a job, because yes, it all helps. We know your dad will soon too. We bet he has some amazing skills.
Yes, every little bit helps. I’m hoping that your dad gets an even better job soon and that your mom can stay home, tinker in the garden, and work to fulfill your every need 🙂
Hey, congrats on the new job! Dad will find one too soon enough, I just know it! Then, kitties, you’ll have to serve yourself your own treats…hahaha!
Congrats on your mom finding a job! That’s great news!
We are very happy Mom has a job and hope and purr your Dad will find an employer worthy of his experience and one who appreciates his loyalty.
Hugs and kitty kisses madi and mom
I am furry happy that you fund a job and I have great hopes that the dad will too. I know he is taking advantage of all the agencies and helps out there. Is he also in Linked In?
Thanks! Yes, Dad Cole is on LinkedIn and had 18 people look at his profile last week!
One new job down, one more to go! Unless a few of the kitties want to pitch in with some part time work!
We are purring that you house Dad will find some work that is right up his alley (cat) soon.
I am glad your mum has found a job and hope your dad soon gets a new one too.
So glad that the Mom has found a job and we send good thoughts that the Dad will find one too.You all have a super nice weekend.
Well, at least the kitties’ schedule hasn’t changed. Good luck to your mom in her new job!
Looks like you kitties sure know how to relax. Maybe you can give us a couple pointers? We hope your Mom’s first day of work went well. Funny that you mention fur on beds … earlier this week, I lint-rolled all the cats’ favorite spots. I do everything the hard way!
Schedule changes don’t change our napping much either. Both our parents are retired and so they are home almost all the time, especially Mom. She likes staying at home. Dad likes to gallivant. Hope your mom likes her new job and your dad gets one soon. Quint, you look adorable. Congrats to your Mom on her new job! I am sure your Dad will get one soon.
Hooray for Mom finding a new job. 100% true, every little bit helps, so that’s awesome news. We are purring and praying for Dad to find something really soon, too. Love you, pals!
If you kitties purr real hard and nap real hard, Dad will have good luck, we just know it! – Tom x
