The Dad says there are these wildfires out and about and that we need to take care for air quality and such. I think it sounds like a bunch of alarmist nonsense. At the worst, it sounds like an opportunity to stare down some danger.
But then he tells me he’s going to close the window for a few days until things are less dangerous. You tell me how I am to respond to that!
For a moment, I think “I can take him,” and prepare to leap with bare claws the moment he starts to close the window…
…but he is a very big human…
Yes, he is very large, and he’s been a pretty good guy to date. So in a monumental harnessing of the danger gene, I resist the urge to leap.
Instead, I lobbied for at least some last whiffies of outside before the opportunity was gone.
I sure hope the wildfire doesn´t reach your house !!
And I hope the windows can be open for window wiffies soon again !

It’s frightening, how many wildfires there are near you right now! The air quality must be terrible. There haven’t been any really huge fires near our area since I’ve been here, but my human remembers some that have really created a lot of smoke and some ash for our neighborhood.
Hope dose fires stay away from y’all!
