It seemed we were in the hot zone here for a long, long time. In reality, the weather was hot for only a few weeks and then, it took a long time to feel any cooler. While we were waiting for the cools to arrive, there was only one thing worth doing. Yep, we’re talking about naps, and the cooler the surface the better. In lieu of ice cube tray naps, apparently, pleather works.

Chuck tends to nap on wooden chairs, or sprawls out on the hardwood floor. Since I love being barefoot, the hots are okee dokee with me!
It’s cooling down here too – finally! Although our hot was nowhere near as hot as your hot was!

Yep, naps are the only proper response to the hots, fur sure.
That does look like a cool place to lay. I like laying on cool, flat surfaces when it’s hot…like the kitchen table. ~Wally
