Hands down, the best giver of great hugs is Viola, who sensed Dad was having another rough day dealing with filling out unemployment forms and making exceptionally hard household budget cuts. And during his birthday week, too, no less.
This photo reminded us of another recorded hug she gave Dad back in 2015.

At least unemployment forms are online now; don’t have to fill ’em out in triplicate and stand in line, like the ‘good old days’. Sending positive vibes for the job hunt, and I look forward to Quint’s art hitting my mailbox next week! (At the office, so The Hubby doesn’t need to see the package…hehehe!)

Viola is a sweetheart and we know first hand how welcome those hugs are. Sending purrs and prayers for Dad…Mom lost her job in 2007 and it was awful…..just awful. She hasn’t worked outside of the home since….but she is much older than your Daddy we think.

Yeah, dealing with a purrson who is suddenly not working is hard. Me and Derby did lots of purring on mum years ago when it happened to her. Sending all good wishes that this unexpected happening is short lived.
