Quint, oh, Quint. Quint, where are you? Quint, Quint, come here.
Dad, I have places to go today, like, I think I hear my blanket fort calling me. And I’m late as it is. Another time, Dad.
Oh, Quint. Okay, then. I’ll just put these snack kibbles back away…
Hmm, my blanket fort can wait a little longer. Coming, Dad!
Later…
Snack kibbles and my blanket fort and Dad who give snack kibbles mid-morning. Yeah, this is the good life.

Olivia’s vet X-rays came back. Dad says our favorite vet said Olivia is too skinny to see anything inside that may have been displaced or pushed out of the way should something be amiss. She doesn’t have any blockage of any kind. And because Olivia’s back to eating fairly normally now, they can only speculate that perhaps she had a case of pancreatitis that’s clearing up or has cleared up. If we wanted to, the next step could be an ultrasound but neither they or we are convinced they’d find anything. Our budget and gut feel doesn’t allow us to go that far, especially with such strong doubt.
So, we’ll continue to monitor her eating just as we do every day with everyone and will look forward to Colehaus Cats normalcy. And with that news, let’s break out the treats all around!

We’re sorry that you didn’t find answers with Olivia, and hope that she’ll start eating again.
Treats for everyone!
Purring for Olivia, that she remains stable, and for Quint that he finally gets into his blanket fort for a goodly snooze.
Some things are more important than a blanket fort. Quint. I hope Olivia is over what was ailing her and she keeps eating.
Glad Olivia got no bad news ! Treats for all indeed !
Glad Olivia is eating better now. XO
Enjoy those treats, everyone!
Yay for treats and NO bad news!
Quint, you are living the Life of, well, Quint. And THAT is a wonderful life, for sure.
Olivia, we are glad your appetite has returned, and that the vet’s report was a good one. XO
