Once upon a time . . . I say that because, apparently, all good people stories begin with those words . . . there was a great gray and white tuxedo cat named, oddly enough and just like myself, Tessa.
This Tessa cat was very adventurous and independent. Sometimes, she was very loving. Sometimes, she was a little cranky.
Tessa liked a lot of things. Wet cat food comes to mind, instantly, for example. And chicken. Oh, and cheese! Tessa was the official cheese taste tester at her house. No one got away with opening a bag of cheese without me, er, I mean, Tessa knowing about it.
Don’t mind my slip up there. We’re talking about a completely different Tessa cat. I can’t help that it sounds a little bit like me. Perhaps ALL CATS NAMED TESSA LIKE CHEESE! It could happen!
Tessa also likes boxes, particularly low edged boxes that allowed this tuxedo cat to drape her delightfully contrasting paw over the edge. I do this, too, probably more that the Tessa cat in this story. See? Proof that although similar, we are different Tessas.
Hmm, do I detect disbelief amongst you?
Would this face lie?

I believe you Tessa. XO
Oh, I TOTALLY believe you, Tessa!
That is a very nice story about the other Tessa!
Lie??? Never, Tessa!! 😉
I’m sure that Tessa cat is a totally different cat than you.
Nope, we bet there is another Tessa cat, just like in your story. Yup, that could totally happen!
That’s a great story, Tessa. There could never be too many Tessas in the world.
We enjoyed reading about the other Tessa! We believe ya completely. On the other paw, iffen the picture was of ya with a bird in yer mouth and ya said “Bird? What bird?” we would believe that too. Reality is whatever we cats SAY it is…
