Someone woke up with a bad case of the Mondays.
Quint, we think Viola’s big enough now to get all her missed spots on her own. Unless you’re volunteering to help.
Got Pia’s back or watching her back, we’re not sure which situation Olivia’s thinking of.
After a week of sweaty, extra hot temperatures outside, we cranked down the air conditioning for one night of snuggly weather indoors. Ruby wishes the snowflake flannel was out every day of the year.

Over the weekend, Pia Bean went to the vet to take a look at something on her paw pad. Turned out she had multiple somethings on multiple paw pads – Corns, like people sometimes get on their feet, or as someone funny said from wearing too tight shoes. After inspections, Pia’s corns are deemed normal; lots of cats get them, in fact. We’re trying hard not to call her Pia Beans and Corns.
She also had her bloodwork done with results showing everything is great (though dropping two or three pounds wouldn’t be bad), the rest of her nails were clipped, and her, um, nether bits shaved. And she has to have ear drops every day for a week, then every other day for a week for gunk her ears have grown fond of. And then, a dental cleaning in about a month because WHOA! Tartar!
It’s possible we’ll have a shiny, brand new cat again after all this work is done!
Next up for bloodwork, Viola!

Corns? My goodness, beans and corn fur sure!
Mom saw that on FB. So she looked at my paws, and I have at least one of those little critters.
“Pia Beans and Corns” LOL! Angel had a spot that the vet claimed was a corn, but I felt it was the result of a sliver. The Hubby used his Swiss Army Knife scissors and voila, no more corn! Weird, huh? Pia, sorry girlfriend, you’ve got another vet visit in your future, but at least you’ll be getting some good knockout drugs. And Viola…say what?!? LOL!
W ow, Pia, we didn’t know cats could get corns on their toes. Sure sounds as if you just might be a”new” cat when all the “work” is complete. We feel a bit sorry for you. Hope you get lots of loving and treats in return. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Beans and Corns, ha! We’re sure glad they are nothing to worry about. And Viola, sounds like you’re up next!

MOLMOL Pia Beans and Corns.
I won’t tell her either.
Hugs madi
Everyone seems to be getting by with only minor problems. Hope that corn is not GMO!
Uh-oh, Viola!
We have never heard of corns on cats feet either. But glad they are easy to get rid of. And glad that is all that it is. Have a great day.
Oh my…I saw that too on Face Book but it’s fun to see it here; and that Monday STINK EYE is totally the most stinkiest Stink Eye I have ever seen.
Hello, cuties! Corns or no corns, you are gorgeous, Pia Bean. Now, though, we can’t help but think what a purrfect name Pia Beans and Corns is…
We’re glad to hear that Pia checked out okay at the vet. She’s gotta stop wearing those tight shoes. 😉
We think all our comments are going to spam. We hope you find them.
Mom always finds comments that went somewhere they shouldn’t have. Kinda like finding Tessa in the ‘fridge that one time eating ham.
Sounds like you have had a busy time, Pia. Glad everything is okay. Flynn had a couple of small callouses from going around the fields which the vet said was corns. Not surprising really as he could never walk anywhere and everything had to be done at top speed.
Beans and Corns love it! Sounds like you still have some visits to the vet ahead of you guys~!
Glad the vet visit went well. I hope Viola does as well. XO
Whoa! Faith used to have something on one of her paw pads and now we know what it was thanks to Pia. You better hide, Viola.
After reading about Pia’s corns, Mom is going to check mine out today.
We don’t like the idea of corns (poor Pia) but we do like to think snowflakes!
