Last week we were asked, “Your cat guests, are those their real names?” To which we reply, yes! Sort of.
Scruffy really is Scruffy, named by his family. W is something that starts with a W but for privacy reasons, we’re withholding his full name. W has a history and we don’t want to be responsible for the IRS finding him or anything.
Wally isn’t Wally, surely he isn’t. But try as we may, we can’t be certain which house, exactly, is his to ask his family. We’re not saying no one on that particular street is friendly or anything, but . . . no one answers their doors when we know someone(s) is home. And Wally might look like an old man cat, he’s actually only three this year. Just think of his physical personality when he does become an old man cat!
Pierre is also unknown in the real name department but honestly, he’s a white cat with a black floofy tail, a black nose and a black splotch over one eye like he’s wearing a jaunty, tilted beret. Can’t you just imagine him meowing to you in French? Okay, maybe that’s just us. What would you call him?

Lastly and apparently, Quint’s in the latest edition of Catser Magazine! Okay, we knew this was coming and worked with the incredibly awesome writer Ramona Marek for Quint’s interview. We haven’t seen the interview and not sure where to find a copy at the moment, but we’ve heard nothing by rave reviews and Quint’s paintings are flying off the shelf, going to all points around the country (the exception continues to be the Northeastern corner of the U.S. – C’mon Maine, don’t you need a Quint painting?).
And because of these recent sales and help from you, the friends of Colehaus, today a young-ish kitten in need is being spayed and another is being treated for injuries. Thank you, Quint fans!
Thank you so much, Ramona, for your hard work, patience and for being our friend. Hugs and purrs!

We used to have a neighborhood cat who left us several litters of kittens. We gave her one name and our neighbor gave her another. Pierre seems like a good name for that last cat. How cool that Quint is featured in Catster magazine this month. We love that we have many of his fabulous art pieces. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
I didn’t know that Viola was box shaped?
Viola really is filling that box up nicely!!!!

I was so excited to see Quint in Catster. I even posted it on Cats with Blogs FB page 🙂 I am glad it has helped sales. Quint is very talented. XO
We like your names for your visitors! Way to go Quint, you are even more famous now!
We think Pierre is the perfect name for that kitty. Viola, you look very comfy in that box. Nothing better than a good bo. Have a wonderful day.
How awesome Quint is Catster! Going to send Mom out to get a copy! Glad sales have jumped for him too!
Lovely photos.
Mum is always naming the visitor cats if she doesn’t know their names. The latest is Ginger Friend 🙂
We see you too, Viola!
We heard about Quint’s interview. We don’t get Catster magazine anymore (a one yr subscription was outrageously priced we thought!), but we may go looking for this one so we can read about our buddy, Quint. Maybe we can even get him to pawtograph it??? 😉
I like Pierce! I am going to go ahead and look at Catster! I was saving it till I finished another. Now I’m going to go see my favorite mancat.

What lovely photos. You are just the purrfect fit for that box. Thanks for sharing the facts about your names. Pierre meowing in French is just too funny. Thanks for the share. Have a great one.
I subscribe to Catster and read the interview! He’s a celebrity 🙂
Yo! I do that too. We pretend that all the neighbors’ cats and strays are part of my posse and name them accordingly. Of course we give all the neighbors “nicknames” too. MOL!
I’m proud that I have some vintage Quint art from 2013. I’m glad his work has been selling briskly. We just got our Catster today and can scan it for you if you’d like.
We were SO excited to see Quint in Catster!!! Concats on the well-deserved honor 🙂
That’s uber cool that Quint’s in Catster! And that his paintings are selling so well. 🙂
