Those 3 kits of Skinny (this year’s visiting raccoon mom) who almost barged their way into our garage the other day and then, ran like their tails were on fire when they saw us, are adorably cute and we don’t forget for a moment that they are wild animals capable of biting and trampling flowers and completely incapable of mowing lawns or doing any kind of housework. The freeloaders that they are.
Yeah, you tell it like it is, Mom!
Well, we do know of some other animals that don’t do much around here, either, little girl.
Oh, good. I wondered when you’d get around to saying something about her. She does nothing all day. Unless you count sleeping and glaring.
Hmm, are you talking about you or your sister Tessa? ‘Cuz you’re very much alike, and your glaring skills certainly have improved. Have you been taking lessons?

Inside freeloaders, outside freeloaders…we anipal-loving humans cannot resist!
Viola’s “not amused” look has REALLY improved!
Viola, you are such a cutie. I love that last photo.
The cats of a house are not required ta do any work. Their mere presence there is enough. Outside varmints though need to show they are worth having around.
TBT says he actally kinna likes raccoons, we never see them in the yard. They have a whole big wetlands across the street ta play in!
MOL. Viola, you have that gray look down pat!
