Warning: The following Colehaus Cats blog post contains a photo of cat poop. If you have never seen cat poop, or if the sight of cat poop is upsetting, please look away. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Who left this cat poop outside of the litter box? Viola found it. Did she leave it? Who did it?
Didn’t do it. Wouldn’t do it. If anything, I am a very, very clean, neat and orderly boy.
Don’t look at me! Hey, maybe this bass toy did it. He smells stinky sometimes. Could be that brat little sister of mine and her spit all over it. Could be something that came out of that bass’s as . . .*THAT’S ENOUGH FROM YOU, TESSA!*
Why’s everyone looking at me??
*Yawn* Wasn’t me. I was sleeping. Or . . . was I?

We have “mystery poops” at our house too. LOL
MOL that happens here too!!!
The Florida Furkids
Kitties, I suggest the following explanation:
The poop jumped out of the box on it’s own, and kept rolling until it landed in front of Viola!
Kitties, I posit:
The poop jumped out of the litterbox, and rolled, rolled, rolled until stopping in front of Viola!

I wonder who the log leaver is! Maybe someone was covering too enthusiastically.
Clearly one of the neighborhood cats snuck in 🙂
There’s never any mystery poop around here! That’s because mine and Boodie’s are distinctly different. And being 19, Boodie’s the one likely to miss the box, when it does happen.
Yeah, probably the bass toy!
First off, anyone who spends time cat blogging shouldn’t need to look away when facing cat poop. That’s my two cents. Thankfully I haven’t done that here, and I like to think I’m a very neat, clean old lady cat. My litterbox door is currently having issues and gets hung up now and then, and dad has cobbed it together, but I fear it’s only a matter of time before he and mom find something like this before long.
