Fireworks are still going off around here because why not celebrate 9 a.m. on a Monday morning, right? And where does any good firework-hating boy hide? Exactly the last place Mom would think to look for him – in the laundry room, tucked under the painting ladder, the step stool and next to the vacuum floor attachment. Good spot, Quint! Mom nearly had a heart attack thinking you were outside!

Aw, poor Quint. We sure hope the fireworks stop soon. 🙁
Hi everyone! Quint, that is quite a nice hiding spot.
We have a dreary Monday we are peeking at. Quint you are quite the professional hiding kitty arent you
Yikes! I am glad my neighbors only set them off at night. Poor Quint. That was a good spot to hide though.
Whew! We are fortunate this year–formerly a neighbor set of a big one at some random time every night from Memorial Day until he ran out in July, and others set of firecrackers just whenever most of the summer. On the 4th our house was shaking since they passed a new law that anyone could buy the big fireworks and six neighbors set them off, but we think they wore themselves out. Or ran out of money.
dood…..curry uz catz wanna noe…..how DID ya get bak ther !!
for what itz werth…. they stillz shootin em off heer two
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
We hope no more fireworks. 9 am is just so dumb to set off fireworks. We love you all peeking out cause it’s Monday already. We hope Quint is ok. That is one tight hiding spot. Have a wonderful day.
They are still shooting fireworks here too but not in the morning!!!
The Florida Furkids
Fireworks and firecrackers are the pits! Here’s hoping it’s quiet for a long while now.
P.S. Quint, Angel hid in the linen closet for several nights; she did think she was safe enough under the bathtub nor the dresser!
Now why would humans feel the need to shoot fireworks off at 9am on a Monday?? Hiss!!!
What a great feature story on Quint and his paintings in the latest issue of Catster (already the September/October one). I saw the pictures first and thought “That’s just like Quint ! “and it was !
9am??? That’s ridiculous!!! Poor Quint having to squeeze himself in there to hide from the noise.
We will have another week of fireworks so we totally understand Quint!
Wow, I bet the fireworks would NEVER find you there, Quint!
Poor Quint! That spot took skill!
Pia. We wish we had a huge floofy tail like yours to hide behind when Monday comes around.
That was a good hiding spot, Quint. Sorry that you scared Mom like that … stoopid fireworks! 🙁
