Hey, it’s me, your roving reporter Olivia, telling all and telling tall and small. This month’s been a doozy for barfs. Why, it looked like so much fun, even I had to join in a time or two. Mom says it’s our usual seasonal change barf-o-rama time, when temperatures vary wildly from day to night and bugs find their way inside, only to be pounced upon by one or more of us. I’m not going to admit my sister Pia is an excellent bug hunter but just between you and me, I think half her substantial body weight is from eating bugs.
Mom: Olivia, that’s not true at all! You’re making it sound like we’re neck deep in bugs around here. Not true at all.
Did someone mention a bug? I snacked on a couple of ants the other day. Mmm, tasty!
Mom: All right, you two. We do not have bugs. End of story.
Au contraire! But let me continue my report while Mom and Pia go look for bugs. There I was, napping, purring the gentlest of purrs of one content kitty, when, suddenly, my brother Quint needed a face wash. You all know how messy he is. And I said, “Brother, you need a face wash.” And he said, “Well, you know how messy I am.”
And then, some time later, . . .
. . . Mom came back from her bug safari and with camera in hand, naturally, she took my photo with Quint fur on my face. I mean, really now, was that necessary?
Mom: Olivia, that fur could have just as easily come from Floppy Cat as it could have come from Quint. Are you blaming Quint for shedding on you?
And that’s the problem with Moms, boys and girls. They ALWAYS have some kind of photographic evidence. Well, Mom, hate to break it to you but Floppy doesn’t shed because Floppy’s not real. Like to see you get evidence otherwise.
As I was getting to another report, before someone tried to correct me, my grouchy pants sister Tessa was grouchy all month. Okay, so no real news there, I guess.
Am not! Don’t make me come over there.
The only one who didn’t get into any trouble all month was the Squirt Viola which, frankly, amazes me since that peanut seems to get into everything, just like sister Tessa!
Hey now, I heard that!
That’s about it for the time being. I’m sure more trouble will make itself known next month, with all the guilty parties participating as usual. Time for this reporter to grab a quick, well deserved nap!

Thanks for that thorough report, Olivia.
Now you’d have thought some kind soul would have airbrushed that evidence out for you, wouldn’t you? Mrs H is exactly the same and seems to relish in embarasing me, MOL
Purrs for a bug and hair free summer.

Nice job of tattling…er, um…reporting, Olivia!
And thanks for NOT giving us blow by blow details of the barforama…
Great reporting!!!
The Florida Furkids
Olivia, you are so sweet to give your brother a bath. We tend to get a lot of barfs on rainy days, not sure why.
Boy mom said she SURE knows the barfing story. I keep reminding her with Barforama!
Thanks for keeping us on top of everything, Olivia!
Thanks for the update. Out here our Buster just watches the bugs and does not even swat. He just watches them. What’s the use of having a kitty when he can’t do that? LOL
You are a very good reporter and have brought us all up to date, Olivia.
Well, yeah, some grass and a few bugs WILL do that.
We enjoyed reading your report ! Purrs
We luv hunting bugs when we get the chance too.
I have to say- that was quite the thorough report for sure. I’ve taken to going after bugs lately out on the deck. Now and then mom and dad leave the slider screen open for me, and anything that got inside surely falls prey to me!
Olivia, we enjoyed the great report you gave us. Pia, we love the wonderful look in the photo. You know you’re an excellent bug hunter. Thanks for the share. Have a great weekend.
Olivia, that sure was a detailed report of what’s going on at your house. You really DO see all!
