What, Pia? Are you waiting for something?
I’m waiting to discuss something with Mom, specifically, my ants. I haven’t seen them lately. I miss them. Mom knows where they are, I’m certain.
Pia, you’re not getting any ants. No one wants ants here. Your belly didn’t like the ants, remember? Mom will not have ants in this house, not a single one. And they are most definitely not your ants.
You just wait, Dad. Sooner or later, my ants will be back and we’ll continue this conversation then.
Well, if we have anything to say about it, and WE DO, it might be a long while before the ants return. If they know you’re waiting here just to eat them, why would they want to visit? Think of it as them going on a spring break vacation far away from here, at some sunny locale soaking up the rays, checking out each other and ordering virgin ant drinks like Ants on the Beach or Ants in the Pants. Wouldn’t you rather have that kind of life for them instead of being pounced upon and eaten?
I’m not answering. You’re being silly now, Dad.

You are far better off without those ants, Pia!
She does look a bit grumpy. 🙂
Baloo the Bear might have liked the way they tickled when he ate them, but I doubt you would. Best to leave them be.
We know you’re missing them, but Dad is right, Pia. Your tummy is most certainly NOT missing those ants.
