Tessa, oh, Tessa! Today has something magical in store for you!

Mmm, I’m kind of sitting here all quiet like as if you didn’t notice. If it’s about my dental stitches, you already told me they’re gone now. I’m not interested in anything else you deem “magical,” thank you very much.

Well, we just happen to have something here for you, specifically for you, from the Tooth Fairy. Let’s see. It mentions catnip and silvervine . . .

Lemme see that. Hmm, there’s my name and some squiggles and okay, some words that say catnip and silvervine if you say they do. You wouldn’t fib, would you?

No, Tessa. No fibbing. We take catnip and silvervine and the Tooth Fairy every bit as seriously as you do a fresh can of Fancy Feast. Anything else there grab your attention?

*Munch, nom nom, munchie munch, chomp, nom*

She found the silvervine toast. Good girl! The Tooth Fairy specifically called that one out. She sure knows what you like!

And just to make sure everyone knows these are Tessa’s toys, make sure every one gets a good chomp-eroo! Looks like her teeth are good and strong!

After a good twenty minutes or so of biting, tossing, chomping, she settled in on a favorite light blue toy, perfectly Tessa-sized.

And later, still clutching her favorite, it was naptime. Dear Tooth Fairy, your toys are beautiful and Tessa absolutely LOVES them. Thank you for softening her memory of her dental visit and extractions. THANK YOU!
