It was a nice, snowy day here at Colehaus a couple of weeks ago. We were enjoying a bit of unusual snowfall, when we spotted something…. amiss, under the bird feeders.
See him? That’s Whittles, who lives across the street from us. Now, birds, yeah, we can take or leave ’em but we aren’t supplying a smorgasbord for anyone if we can help it.
So, this is just wrong. Nope. Sorry, buddy, there’s better places for you to be…
… like right here on this patio chair that just happens to have nice fleecy bedding. Good boy, Whittles. You don’t need no stinkin’ bird!
Hmmm….. allow us kittehs to interpret Whittles’ expression for you: thank you for this comfy seat but I TOTALLY need a bird. Or three. At least, that’s what WE would be thinking here!
Oh Whittles, glad you found a nice dry place to have a little nap. You can’t help it if the birds are interesting.
it looks like you have found a wonderful bed on the patio chair Whittles and lots of bird entertainment too.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Whittles is adorable! Got a bit of a smirk on his ginger face, I think!

We are glad you found a nice cozy spot to dream about that bird in.
This sounds like a successful rescue mission, both for Whittles and the birdies! I’m glad Whittles happened upon that nice, warm fleece bed.
Whittles é bom menino, só querida um pouco de diversão! hihihihi
Now Whittles…Whittles…control yourself dude!
oh he IS a handsome one though! catchatwithcarenandcody
Whittles you sure are a cutie pie!
Yes, Whittles. You just relax and get comfortable in that nice fleecy bed!
Oh do we hear you. Once mom saw a neighbor cat jump straight up in the air grab a female cardinal right off the feeder perch. She said the same thing we really enjoy feeding birds but we aren’t going help the stalkers.
So we got a new taller shaft and bought trays for the feeders so if the at jumped again he’d have to do a jump up then a sideways turn. Seemed to solve the problem
hugs madi your bfff
That exact thing happened here when our dad first put up our feeder sixteen years ago! He bought an extension pole too and no more of those kinds of problems!
Believe it our not it is rare for our ferals to bother the birdies. Maybe it’s because Dad feeds the ferals well.
Whittles, since you are a Colehaus guest and you’re not chasing birdies, maybe you should get some chicken snacks!
My human keeps looking at the weather report this weekend for Portland, and mostly it looks like rain, but a couple of times it has edged into snow! My human says if it does get cold enough to snow, she will have me touch it – I’m scared!
We’ve not heard a peep about snow for the weekend around here. We think your weather source may be confusing us with Portland, Maine! Nothing but rain here until… April.
We’re glad you got Whittles away from the birdTv
The Florida Furkids
Looks like Whittles found himself a more comfy spot to watch Bird TV.
The chair looks warmer anyways!
The chair is a much better spot to be, Whittles.
Whittles is adorable!!!
He is a cute kitty.
Whittles, you sure lucked out finding such a comfy spot! You are a cutie and that is a great picture of you!
It is hard for us cats to resists birdies! Sorry to be late in getting back to you – Mom was sick with vertigo from a sinus issue for days.
Dood, seriouslies. The porch is FAR superior to wet cold snow ANYWAYS!
Whittles looks like he simply loves that nice warm fleece to lay on. Be a good neighbor Whittles
