We had a post all written up, a post about one bad kitty and crystal clear photographic evidence of something bad they did. We were all ready to dish the dirt and you’d never guess who the guilty party was. But then, something more exciting happened.
We’re having snow days!
Living in the Pacific Northwest in the United States doesn’t automatically mean we get snow every winter. Most winters are just cool and very rainy. It’s special when we get any of the white stuff. So when the Saturday night weathermen said snow would probably stay south of us, we were certain we wouldn’t see anything.
Wrong-O! Count us giddy!
Olivia watched the snow drift down for hours from the front window.
And Tessa watched from the glass front door.
And we were particularly giddy because Saturday afternoon, our first feralvilla.com feeding station arrived! Perfect timing to keep the outside cats food bowl out of the elements. In fact, just a mere second or two before snapping this photo, a soft gray (dilute) cat was sitting there at the fence entrance, and of course, took off like a shot to parts unknown. Looks like someone new has found us. We’ll try hard to get him/her photographed soon.
And don’t worry about that bad kitty post. We’ll reschedule that for next week and let the guilty party relax for a bit longer. Don’t worry. We won’t forget. Like elephants, Moms never forget.
Your snow is beautiful. That feeder is pawsome….so nice that you take care of the outside kitties.

We’re so glad you have such great facilities for the outside ones. They talk amongst themselves, you know. PS: you’re darn right moms never forget stuff! We so wish they would.
Snow?? Dat are pretty eggciting!
There is a unique joy, when a feral cat eats from the bowl you’ve set out. I am looking forward to photos of all of your feral friends, and of course, am on the edge of my seat wondering who did what inside!
We’ve ventured out in the snow in our yard, but we prefer watching it from the inside. We’re all so happy that you provide food and comfort for the poor kitties who don’t have families. You deserve all sorts of purrs and soft paw pats from us……….and hugs from Mom!!!
What perfect timing! The outside kitties will enjoy the feeder while the inside kitties enjoy watching the snow. I always wonder what goes through Jenna’s head when she’s watching the snow from the patio door 🙂
Eu não gostaria de ser um gato de rua com toda essa neve!
O alimentador vai ser muito bom para esses gatinhos.
I didn’t think you got too much snow up there! It’s the best for kitties’ environmental enrichment!
We prefer to watch the snow falling while we can watch it through a window!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh my snowflakes…you are having a snow day.
It is pretty from inside looking out. Thank goodness your feral houses are ready too
Hugs madi your bfff
We’ve had a couple of flurries but nothing is sticking around here
The snow does look pretty- especially when it isn’t in our yard. Being from New England, I don’t feel the same way about snow. The kitties do look adorable watching it.
That’s fun, kitties! That is an awesome feeding station too! Happy New Year to you all! May you receive your heart’s desires with ease and glory in 2016.
Beautiful snow pictures ! And that’s a pawsome feeding station ! Purrs

That snow looks so pretty! We won’t be getting any of that down here in SoCal – just rain!
you have more snow than we do in Michigan! catchatwithcarenandcody
I’m going to admit to being at least a tad bit jealous. Living in the Midwest, we can have ourselves some pretty hefty snowfalls. But, alas, this year we’ve had hardly any of the pretty white stuff. Well, happy snow days to you!
Also, I love your feral cat feeding station. I’ve been trying to build up some shelter for the feral, stray, and neighborhood cats who visit my house, and I think I may have to go with something like what I’m seeing here. Purrs!
The snow looks pretty. We rarely get it here.
The ferals will be very happy with their new feeding station.
Nice feeding station! And just in time for the snow.
So pretty!!! We’re *finally* getting snow here too. Wish it had been around for Christmas though!
Wow! And we have no snow here. Kinda strange.
That’s so beautiful! We never get snow here (and that’s okay, the head peep has no idea how to drive in that stuff anyhow).
Snow, guess cuz we get it here all the time, well. YAWN! Glad you are enjoying and hope the outside kitties find the foods.
We love watching it snow, too!
