Mom! Mom! Look at my long whiskers! Mom, are you looking? You should look because they’re l-o-o-o-o-ng whiskers. Are you looking? Mom?
Mom looked at Tessa’s whiskers, then she patted Tessa on the head and returned to her thoughts and long distance stare. Next week promises to be very stressful at work and every day, Tessa wastes little time letting Mom know she needs to be kept in the manner she’s been used to for eleven and a half years.
Tessa, maybe we should have trained you to be a country-wide touring circus cat, and you could bring home the bacon every week. Sure, we might be living in a painted trailer, sharing space with a llama and a multitude of acrobatic goats, but we’d probably all get used to it.
Mom, I’m not sharing space with acrobatic goats, so think of something else. Here, look at my side whisker. I’m pretty proud of growing this one.

Tessa, I as a kitty, admire that side whisker. It takes special effort to grow those. Your mom admires it a lot! She’s just thinking of the right words to tell you. XX
Tessa, go make some biscuits on your meowmy; she needs the stress relief.
From an overly stressed worker myself, I sympathize.
Not only are we missing one person from our team, but due to a re-org, things are messy and uncertain.
Sweetie seems to want me to stay awake a goodly portion of every night, so perhaps being sleepy during work is a stress-reducer…?
You have beautiful long whiskers,Tessa.
Very nice whiskers. XO
Beautiful whiskers on a most beauteous kitty!
We love you and your long whiskers, Tessa. XO
LOKI: Tessa, I thought I had long whiskers, but ya sure got me beat on those!
