Spay day arrived at last for Pia. It was yesterday, actually, but we didn’t want to make a big deal of it. The withholding of food for a few hours and having to ride in the cage in the car with early morning music playing all the way to the vet and all that. She wasn’t terribly happy. Not a Rihanna fan either, apparently.
So, let’s not forget to mention the little sweetheart’s own singing. Oh, Pia’s loud, insistent, pitiful singing. All.The.Way.There. Most certainly, all the way home too. It would seem on the way to the vet, she finally found her “meow.” What a set of pipes!
*pfttt!*
Today, Pia comes home. Her Mom and Dad have really missed her and her singing. She’s a big girl now with a microchip and last shots and tests and everything! Her vets say she did wonderfully through surgery and is anxious to return home. She’ll slow down a bit, they say, but they said that with Tessa too. Didn’t happen. Doesn’t mean it still won’t but Mom thinks after a couple of rest days, Pia will be up to her usual self. And you can bet that’ll include singing.
Congratulations, Ms. Sassy Pants Aguilera. Thank you, vets and staff of Feline Medical Clinic!
Sure glad Pia got through her surgery with flying colors. That is such good news. Pia, don’t try to jump up on anything, it might just hurt you but that will only last for a day or two. Have a great day.
We’re glad all went well for Pia!!
Is spaying supposed to slow them down?
Never did with my four lady cats!
So glad to hear Miss Pia has had her ladygarden-ectomy and is coming home.
KC will post this on the CB to let everyone know.
Love & Purrs,
Mom ML & KC

Pia, what a trooper, good girl!!
Don’t tell the others, but my surgery made my meow sound different. 🙂
Hugs,

I have a feelin’ Pia is probably all up and looking where to audition for American Idol! 🙂 We’re glad her ladycat surgery went well. Give Pia a little pet from us here in Dallas!
