Quint is wrapping up his summer painting this month and wants you to know there’s still time to enjoy his daylily-inspired Burst of Summer 2 series. While creating a special, 4×4 inch canvas project for a special friend, he couldn’t help but want to share the same bright summer colors with everyone on 8×10 artist paper.

Usually the most chipper and upbeat cat in the house, Miss Newton is having a sad. She just found out, accidentally when dad mentioned it out loud, that she and Pia are making their yearly v-e-t visit next weekend. While she doesn’t usually sing the song of her people on the trip, Pia will, undoubtedly, bellow enough for the both of them. In the key of G sharp minor.

And speaking of Pia, she’d like you to know only sixteen days remain before her and Dexter’s anniversary. She commissioned something very special for her long-distance boyfriend and has been talking about little since (the v-e-t trip will probably squash that for a short while). That is, when she isn’t going on and on about Dex. “Dexter this” and “Dexter that” has Viola asking the important question:

Remember to all sing loudly and out of tune when you get to go to the vets. The humans love to hear lots of choruses.
