This is my rat. I like it almost as much as I like my Busy Bee, whom I tell everything to. I used to share all my secrets with my rat but he betrayed me once and now things aren’t the same.
You see, while this is my rat, he’s not the first rat in my life. My favorite of all rats, Rat Number One was swayed to the dark side by that buff-colored cat, Miss Newton who took Rat Number One and made it her bitch own.
I apologize for that vulgar word. You didn’t need to hear that. It’s just,…that rat made me so mad! I hear Miss Newton carries it everywhere, up and down the stairs, from room to room, into the kitchen to snuggle with under the dining table. Mind you, I haven’t seen that in person, and I don’t want to either! She loves on him and is probably eeking secrets out of him all the time. Typical. Rats aren’t be trusted. That’s why even though I keep this one close, he isn’t my bestest rat. I know someday he’ll join Rat Number One and so the secrets I tell him…are fibs. Well, mostly.
He’s second rat around here and I’m not going to let him forget it. At least, that’s what I tell him.
that is one COOL looking rat! Oh and the “B” word didn’t bother me one bit….I live with my Mom remember?
Love, Cody
Oh Maxx rats can’t be trusted that is for sure. Yep don’t tell him any proper secrets as before you know it all the rats will know. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
LOL – poor Maxx… I have a REAL rat. She’d probably be a great friend, as long as your promise not to eat her 😉

Miss Newton STOLE your rat away?! Wow. That could be a whole soap opera! I would watch it!
You tell that rat Maxx!
You are a sweet boy for sharing your cherished rat with Miss Newton, but that is a very cool rat you have now, too, handsome Maxx!..Happy Monday, darling friends…xoxo…Calle, Halle, Sukki, Mommy Cat, Daddy Cat.
We hope you can keep that rat in line, Maxx. Rats are known not to listen. You may have to whap him into submission.
That’s why they call those who tell their friend’s secrets, “dirty rats.” They may not be very trustworthy, but that is one good looking rat. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
Are you SURE that rat isn’t trustworthy, Maxx? He looks pretty nice to us!
oh, Maxx, don’t you look sweet telling secrets to your rat friend. I had a fav’rite catnippy worm that I could confide in…that is until Minnie came along and took her away for herself ::sigh:: sisfurs!

Maxx, that’s one interesting, intense story dood. These rats, they speak to life, do they not?
Harry
Is anyone going to rat on that Miss Newton? 😉
Maxx, that is a pretty cool rat you got there but I don’t blames you for telling him fibs…
phewww thought we was going to see a real one then 🙂
We agree that those Rats are untrustworthy! At the Tomcat Home we stick with the mousies which are a bit better, but, still…
What you need is a nice Kleiban Kitty like mine. Totally, absolutely a confidant for the good stuff. I have to keep tight reign on my little pal.
