Viola, you continue to amaze us with your ability to make friends. We are so proud of you, brave girl, for jumping in to snuggle with almost everyone in the house while not fearing the vacuum cleaner one bit. And you know how much vacuuming is always going on around here!

We’re very pleased with your effort to spend the nights outside of mom and dad’s bedroom so they can sleep. We’re certain that loud purr of yours will only become more endearing the older you get. But not at 2:21 in the morning. Nor at 3:10. Ditto for 4 a.m. when you’re most apt to add licking mom’s face. Must be working on returning those million kisses, huh?
Your leaping skills are far beyond your months, we’re certain. Those long cheetah legs are like springs!

And even though this is a special day, we going to remind you again that the countertops are off limits. You don’t see your mama up there. Follow her lead, Viola.
So you’re becoming more independent and noticing more things around the house. No, the ceiling fan isn’t something to aspire to jump onto. Neither is the bedroom chandelier though count us impressed that you gave careful thought to this.

Viola, so many humans and fur people have followed you and your Mom since before you even entered the world. You are a very lucky kitty to be able to grow up with your Mom and all the kitties there. We are so thrilled to be part of your life. Just remember, learning goes on always so if you forget about staying off the counters one day, tell your humans that you’ll remember on another day. 🙂
Viola you sure have grown into a beautiful young happy cat. WE love that! WE hope too the other families who adopted your brothers and sisters will share updated photos so we can all share in their new lives too.

Happy birthday Niblets! I love the picture of all of them together where the little orange one is looking at his siblings tail. The look on his face says what the heck is this?? Did he have a a Manx bottom like his Mommy?
The orange Niblet is Russell and no, he didn’t have a bobtail but a nice long ginger tail like long-tailed ginger boys do. But had he been a bob, we would have been tempted to keep him for our own! (Said as if we need even MORE gingers.)
Happy 6 Months to all the Niblets! Viola is a good example of why I’ve never adopted another kitten since my first one, a male Siamese. They are way too active and mischievous for me 🙂

We cannot believe that six months has already passed since The Niblets came into the world. We wish we could see all of them now, but are happy that we at least have Viola to follow as she grows up. She’s always been our mom’s favorite. Happy Birthday beautiful, Viola. Hope you got some extra great treats and some new toys today.
