We got her! We’ve been trying for a year and a half to get a photo of a pretty soft gray kitty that visits us occasionally. We’ve named her Gigi and though we aren’t certain it’s a girl, we do have a reasonably good sense about these things (except when it comes to sexing kittens). Gigi lives at Momo’s house and is a 24/7 outdoor cat. This is as close as we’ve ever been able to get to her and Mom was practically squealing with delight! Welcome to your new feeding station, Gigi!

Can I ask a favor of you? Could you convince my Mom and Dad that this rug, my favorite rug in the entire house, never needs to be vacuumed? Sure, it’s pretty when it’s clean but it’s not the same as when my fur and my smells are on it.

How fun to see one of the cats in the new house. That is so terrific.
All the nearby kittehs know there is fine dining and cozy lodgings at Hotel Colehaus. And Gigi is clearly a satisfied customer. Olivia… you are a very beautiful girl but we don’t think your Mom is gonna go for the no vacumming thing.

Olivia, we agree with you that rugs that have our smells on them should never be vacuumed, but we can’t convince the humans of this. They still insist on vacuuming. Silly humans. We could save them so much time.

And, Olivia, I know some kitties who also would much prefer if that nasty vacuum would just leave their furs and smells in place. Pesky vacuums indeed.
